Digging through some old video, I found this clip of Shiloh and his cousin, Ariel, from September of last year. It's obvious in the video how much he wants to interact with her (as evidenced by his careful observation of her every move), but has absolutely no idea how.
This video illustrates perfectly why socialization isn't important for Shiloh at this point: he simply doesn't have the communication skills to get anything meaningful out of such a relationship.
