Fiddler Crab

We took Shiloh to the beach again on Sunday. Shiloh likes to fiddle, and is ingenious at finding things to twiddle between his fingers. Bits of paper, sticks, pretzels, tape, crayons -- you name it, he can fiddle with it. This seems to be a coping strategy that he uses to deal with the fact that he's unsure what to do next, or to alleviate anxiety. In this picture, he even manages to continue fiddling with his sticks even after being partially buried in the sand.
